Trail Running

ERTR (Elite Runners-Trail Runners)

Grass Roots Racing

Pittsburgh Hash House Harriers
The Pittsburgh HHH was founded in 1980 by Jay "Cap't Lewd" Gore. Hashes were originally held every other week for a while, but now hashes are weekly.

Laurel Highland Ultra Races
A race series held annually on the second Saturday in June. Race distances are 70.5 mile and 50 kilometers, and include a team relay option. All races are point-to-point along the Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail.

We're a local non-profit organization working to make it easy for you to get outside. We offer over 500 Public Programs a year including kayaking, hiking, biking, rock climbing, snowshoeing, fishing, cross country skiing, canoeing and geocaching trips. We have activities for all ages and skill levels, and travel to local, city, county and state parks around the region.

Explorers Club of Pittsburgh (ECP)

Western Pennsylvania Orienteering Club
The WPOC is the only orienteering club in Western Pennsylvania. It offers events, training and workshops on orienteering, a sport in which orienteers use an accurate, detailed map and a compass to find points in the landscape. Orienteering can be enjoyed as a walk in the woods or as a competitive sport.
