The new jump line at the North Park Freeride Area Skills Park is almost done but your help is needed to finish the project!!
The Skills Park has been popular with riders age 6 to 60. Everything has been built by PTAG's collaboration with Allegheny County using volunteer labor and donations to fund the construction. A new jump line for the Skills Park is almost complete and more work is planned to get the new jumps open in 2013. We need to raise $3000 to pay for dirt and insurance to complete the project. Work is planned to re-route the pedestrian trail adjacent to the jump line and backfill the jumps on this side with dirt. We hope to have the new line completed and open by June 2013 to hold a Jump Jam party. If you like the Skills Park please make a tax deductible contribution! PTAG volunteers will do the rest. THANK YOU!!
